Who would purchase a 17.1 hand seven year old Thoroughbred gelding that had won a couple of races, been tried as a Steeplechaser and had been turned out for 12 months…. no one in their right mind you might say. However, Kaz’s owners allowed us to try trial him for six weeks as they were keen for him to go to a competitive home and stay there. An absolute gentleman to handle in every way, Kaz has the most amazing ability to take his rider over any obstacle on a cross country course. His dressage was fair to middling and his show jumping was not his strong phase! Always in a hurry to get around the course and not caring too much what happened to the rails on the way to the finish flags. |
